Notification of AT 2025 released, registration will start from 1 August – know everything here | Trends Brief

A big update has come for the students preparing for MBA. The official notification of CAT 2025 has been released by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode. This notification has been uploaded on the official website iimcat.ac.in.
Through CAT (Common Admission Test) 2025, the admission process for MBA programs starts in 21 IIMs and many top B-schools of the country.
📅 Registration will start from 1 August
The registration for CAT 2025 is starting from 1 August 2025, which will run till 13 September 2025. The exam will be conducted on 30 November 2025 in 3 shifts. This will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Candidates can download the admit card between 5 November to 30 November. The results of the exam are likely to be announced in the first week of January 2026.
💰 Application Fee
As per the notification, there is no major change in application fees this year:
General / OBC / EWS candidates: ₹3,000
SC / ST / PwD candidates: ₹1,300
Fee payment will be possible only in online mode.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree to appear in CAT 2025.
General / OBC / EWS category candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks.
SC / ST / PwD candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks.
Final-year students can also apply, but they must fulfill the eligibility after graduation.

This time too, 21 IIMs will accept CAT 2025 scores. These include:
IIM Ahmedabad
IIM Bangalore
IIM Calcutta
IIM Lucknow
IIM Indore
IIM Kozhikode
IIM Udaipur, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Visakhapatnam and other new IIMs as well
